Before joining Fearless Flyers, I was in recovery from drug addiction. Because of my condition, I felt isolated, and I did not know how to get back out there into the world and be social again. When I joined Fearless Flyers, I was nervous and unsure. As the weeks progressed, I became comfortable with my riding ability (which drastically improved) as well as, making genuine connections with others in my age group. This program changed my life for the better.

Joining Fearless Flyers is something I will always treasure and be thankful for. When I first joined Fearless Flyers I rarely spoke and kept to myself but slowly as time went on I felt comfortable with the people I was surrounded by and I started to open up. This shell of isolation I’ve built around me for many years started to slowly break and being around this family reminded me that I too have a voice. I’ve grown a lot as those ten weeks went by.
